Obituary of Rosemary Ruth Young
Peacefully and with her daughter by her side at the Dr. John Gillis Memorial Lodge, Belfast on Thursday, December 5, 2024 the death occurred of Rosemary Ruth Young (Mitchell) of Stratford and formerly of Cape Breton NS, age 77 years. Loving mother of Christopher (Megan) and Carolyn Young. Cherished grandmother of Logan Young (Madison), Hunter Trant (Andy), Darrian Young (Allison Forshner) and Dannica Young. Rosemary is fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Warren and Helena (Murphy) Mitchell, brothers David, Ron and John Mitchell. Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home from where visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, December 10, 2024 from 4-6 pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday December 11, 2024 at 10:30 am at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, Stratford. Interment will take place at Cherry Valley Memorial Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made online to the Cherry Valley Memorial Cemetery.
