Obituary of Rose Gladys Lynch
Surrounded by love, Rose passed away peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Saturday, November 3, 2023. Born in Iona, August 18, 1940, Rose is predeceased by her husband, Tim and is grieved by her children and their families Tim and Tara; Richard, Gretta and Claira; Bernadette, Paul, Lucy and Kate Power; Catherine, Troy, Julia and Travis Enman; and John, Kerry-Ann, Autumn, Bailey and Charley McStavrick; her brothers Mervin Mooney, Gerard (Cindy) Mooney; sister Mary Conroy; and sisters-in-law Irene Mooney, Nancy Mooney, Mary (Michael) Murphy, Sheila O’Sullivan, and Cait Lynch. Predeceased by her parents Wilfred and Catherine (Doherty) Mooney, siblings Stan, Leo (Annie), Eugene, Joseph and Eleanor. Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home, 2 Hollis Ave., Stratford for visitation Tuesday, November 7, 2023 from 5-7 pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, November 8, 2023 at St. Michael’s Church, Iona at 11 am. Interment will follow at the church cemetery. Memorial donations may be made online to Pat and the Elephant or St. Micheal’s Parish, Iona.
