Obituary of Lillian Jeanette Dockendorff
Peacefully at Whisperwood Villa on Tuesday, February 27, 2024 the death occurred of Lillian Janette Dockendorff (MacLean) of Charlottetown, age 93 years. Loving mother of David (Sharon). Cherished grandmother of Christopher (Jessica) and Jason (Casey) and great-grandmother of Brianna and Chloe. Predeceased by husband Alden, parents Henry MacLean and Jean (Johnson) and siblings Willis, Lois Stewart (Bob), Arthur, Henry, Ronald (Clara), Harold, Helen Downe (Stan), Billy and niece Donna Switzer. Fondly remembered by sisters-in-law Pauline MacLean and Mary Dockendorff along with nieces and nephews, including Joe Brown (Daisy), Paula Zink, Al MacLean (Linda), Don Downe (Marlene), Boyd MacLean (Pam), Heather Carr (Doug), Cathy Wright (James) and Trent Switzer. Special appreciation to all the staff at Whisperwood Villa who compassionately cared for Mom over the past two and a half years. Cremation at the Hillsboro Funeral Home with no visitation or funeral service by personal request. Interment will take place later at People’s Cemetery, Charlottetown. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made online to the Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society.
