Obituary of Harry Francis Toombs
Peacefully and surrounded by the love of his family at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Thursday, October 10, 2024 the death occurred of Harry Francis Toombs of Charlottetown, age 67 years.
Beloved husband of Cathy (Murnaghan). Loving father of Nathan and Natalie. Harry will be missed by his brothers and sisters; Eddie, Bernie Carragher (Vince), Pat Toombs, Ruth Morris, Joey (Paula), John (Dodie) and Everett (Theresa). Harry will be remembered with love by sisters-in-law Pauline Toombs, Dale Toombs, Monica Edwards, Honey Landry, and brothers-in-law Jack Murnaghan (Anne), Peter Murnaghan (Angelie), Kenneth Murnaghan (Tammy), as well as his numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Everett and Helen (Hughes) Toombs; siblings Bill, Wendell, Peter, Evelyn and Eric; brothers-in-law Kevin Morris, Mike Murnaghan and Andy Landry; and fur baby Riley, the great white hunter.
Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home, Stratford.
A Celebration of Life from the Charlottetown Fire Department Station#1, 89 Kent Street will be held on Sunday, October 13, 2024 from 2-5pm. Everyone is invited.
