Island First Nation, aged 60, wife of the late Howard Sark Sr. Joyce
was born on September 16, 1963, daughter of the late Peter Frank and
Cecelia (Maloney) Labobe.
Cherished mother of Ellie (Nicholas) Lord, Val (Jon) Jadis,
Jessica and Kelly (Richard Lush). Loving grammy to Naomi, Samuel,
Joey, Jakoby, Shanaya and Lisa’l.
Dear sister to
Christine (Peter) Bernard, Barbara (Charlie) Sonier, Sheila Mitchell,
Angela (Barry) Hanthorn, Kathleen Labobe (Carl), Kevin (Judy) Labobe,
sister in law to Joanne Sark (John Arsenault) and Joyce (John)
Gallant. Joyce is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and
cousins.
Joyce was predeceased by her parents, husband Howard Sr (Dec.
27, 2022), sons Jamie (Aug. 22, 2021), Howard Jr “Duna”
(Jan. 6, 2024) granddaughter Chailo Jadis (Oct. 2, 2022), sisters
Doris Labobe (Mar 9, 2023), Rose, brothers Joey and
Kenny.

Mosquito Path, Lennox Island First Nation for visiting hours on Monday
beginning 2p.m. until Wednesday with her Funeral to be held at John J
Sark Memorial School, Lennox Island First Nation at 11
am.
Interment at a later date in the Parish
Cemetery.
