The death occurred at the Palliative Care Unit, Community
Hospital, O’Leary on Wednesday, December 13, 2023 of Jennie
Rebecca (Betty) Rayner of Cascumpec, aged 89, wife of the late
Clarence Rayner. Born in Northam on December 4, 1934, daughter of the
late Roy and Ella (Ramsay) Ford.
Loving Mom to Joyce Kicksee, O’Leary; Glennis (Allen) Steele,
Naples FL; Pauline MacKay (Blair Ellis), Unionvale; and Darryl
(Anita), Roxbury. Dear grandmother to Shawn Arsenault, Jodi Jenkins,
Devon MacKay, Becky Hogan (Brody), Chad Rayner, Mia Rayner and 8 great
granchildren.
Betty is also survived by brothers and sisters in law Mary
Ford, Annie Bridges, Alton Rayner, Silbert (Carol) Rayner, Geralda
Coughlin and many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by parents, husband Clarence, son in law Phil
Kicksee, Brothers Henry, George, Lloyd, Tom, Gerald, and
Robert.
Resting at Ferguson Funeral Home and Chapel, O’Leary with
visiting hours Tuesday 4-7p.m. Funeral will be held in the Chapel on
Wednesday at 11:00a.m. Interment will follow in Cascumpec United
Church Cemetery.
