The death occurred suddenly at Milltown Cross on Tuesday,
September 3, 2024 of Hubert Sark Sr. of Lennox Island First Nation,
aged 80 years. Hubert was born at home on Lennox Island during a
spring thaw, March 19, 1944 son of the late Jacob and Alma (Cormier)
Sark.
Dear father to Sheila (Owen) Collicutt, Hubert Jr. (Victoria
Perry), Cindy (Darren), Kimberley and Rosebud. Loving grandfather to
Amanda, Daniel, Tia, Kayla, Justin, Daryl-Lynn, Nathan, Tanner,
Brittany, Elizabeth, Remanda and great granfather to 11 great
grandchildren. He will also be missed by numerous nieces and
nephews.
Hubert was predeceased by his parents, step-father Dan
Mitchell, common law spouse Rose Labobe, son Tyson, siblings Ester,
Madeline Knockwood, Mary Catherine, Leo Augustine, Dorothy Bernard,
Cyrus, Marina Bernard, Lloyd, Mary Bernard, Peggy Ryzewski, John
Jacob, Michael, John Joe and Jim.
Resting at Ferguson Tyne Valley Funeral Chapel with visiting
hours Thursday 4:00 – 7:00 pm and Friday until 10:30 then to St.
Anne’s Roman Catholic Church, Lennox Island First Nation for funeral
Mass at 11:00 am. Interment to follow in the Parish
Cemetery.
