The death occurred suddenly at home on January 3, 2024 of
Gregory Lorne Barnett of Brockton, aged 42, beloved husband of Dyan
(Long). Born in Summerside, on May 7, 1981, he was the loving son of
Iris (Hardy) Barnett and the late Lorne Barnett.
Dear brother to Melissa (Les) Gillet,
Rothesay, NB; Miranda (David) Driscoll, Kensington and Krista (Allan)
Gallant, Elmsdale.
Loving uncle to Ella, Lorne, Makenzie
(Nikita), Patrick (Mary), Nathan, Meighan, Damien (Tasha), Breanna
(Cory), Cooper and great nephew Preston.
Gregory is also survived by his father
and mother in law Jim & Linda Long, Amherst,
N.B.
Predeceased by his father Lorne in
2012.
Greg and Dyan
started Goat Berry Lane many years ago, because of their love and
devotion to animals. Greg loved sharing the animals with young
& old.
Greg was a proud member of the Island
Petroleum team for the last few years. He loved his work and his work
family.
Resting at the Ferguson Funeral Home
and Chapel, O’Leary with sharing of memories on Wednesday
from 11-12:30, A private farewell for family only at 12:30
pm.
Interment in the Elmsdale United
Church Cemetery.
