occurred peacefully on December 9, 2024, at the Riverview Manor with
his loving family by his side of John George Jamieson aged 85
years.
Leaving to
mourn his passing is his life partner of 28 years, Faye Dort, his
children, John (MJ) Jamieson, Stratford, Catherine (Kent) MacDonald,
Little Pond, Steve (Isabelle) Jamieson, Georgetown, Karen (Larry)
Victor, Little Pond. He was Grampy George to Alex MacDonald, David
Jamieson, Olivia and Nicolas Jamieson, Tanisha (Dylan) MacIntyre,
Makayla (Denver), Jarrett and Keegan Victor. Great Grampy to Clarke
and Rowan Jamieson. George is also fondly remembered by his siblings,
Doris (Raymond) Jamieson, Sister Elizabeth Dunn, CND, Jean Cann,
Eileen (Garnet) Sorrie, and Carl (Margaret) Jamieson. He was
predeceased by his parents David and Mary (Jamieson) Jamieson and
siblings, Helen Galipeau, Roy, Donnie and Claude Jamieson. Fondly
remembered by his many nieces and
nephews.

Funeral with visitation on Friday, December 13, 2024 from 5
– 7 pm. Funeral Service to take place on Saturday, December
14, 2024 at 11 am at St. Paul’s Roman Catholic Church,
Sturgeon.
Interment to take place in St.
Paul’s Roman Catholic Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers
donations to the St. Paul’s Cemetery Fund would be greatly
appreciated.
