Carrol Jean Compton 78, of Little Sands, loving wife of 50 years to
Stephen Compton. Born in Montague, November 28, 1945, daughter of the
late Henry and Martha (Blackett) Mosher. Survived by children, Kelly
Sweet, Gail MacKenzie-Birt (Doug), Jeannie Condon, Lorne MacDonald,
Lloyd MacDonald, Louise Compton (Chris); (12) cherished grandchildren;
(4) adored great grandchildren; sisters, Marjorie McCosham, Bertha
MacPhee, Betty Bernard; brothers Cecil Mosher, Stanley Mosher (Jody);
sister-in-law, Carol Compton; numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased
by brothers, Ivan, Stirling, Preston; brothers-in-law, Leonard
McCosham, Joe MacPhee and sister-in-law, Elaine Mosher, Mother and
father-in-law, Stephen and Ada Compton.
Resting at Ferguson Logan Montague Funeral Home, with
visiting on Friday, November 15, 2024 from 4 to 7 pm. Funeral Service
to be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, November 16, 2024
at 1:00 pm. Interment to take place in Wood Islands
