“Lawrence” Sydney Glass
1929-2023
On December 15, 2023 Bud passed away peacefully at the Queen
Elizabeth Hospital with his three children by his side. Bud was 94
years old. He was happily married for 65 years to the late Marie (nee
Durley) Glass. He is the dear father of Debbie Ryan (Tim), Stratford,
PEI, Donnie Glass (Gwen), Vancover, BC, Wayne Glass, Tocca, GA.
Lovingly remembered by his numerous grandchildren Kim Hickman, Kathi
Hickman (Keith Cook), Craig Glass (Sue), Mark Hickman (Krista), Lacey
Welton, Erica Welton (Ryan), and great grandchildren Austin, Sydney,
Travis, Riley, Jacob, Antonio, Havanna, Peyton and brothers Ted (Carol
Ann), Jim (Diane-dec). Many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his parents Sydney and Edna (Sinstead) Glass,
his wife Marie, his sister Audrey and deceased nieces and
nephews.
The Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, December 19, 2023
at St. Pius X Church, St. Peter’s Road, Charlottetown, PEI
at 1:30 p.m. Interment to follow in the Roman Catholic Cemetery,
Charlottetown.
No visitation by personal request.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the
charity of your choice.
