Donald “Donnie” Blair Flynn
1946-2024
Suddenly at St. John Regional Hospital on March 17th at the
age of 78. Survived by his wife of 54 years; his
love, Helen Flynn (nee Wood). Beloved father of BobbiJo
Flynn (Lowell Ferguson) and Billie-Jean Flynn (Coady Campbell) and
proud grandfather to Flynn and Sloan Campbell.
Donnie loved and cared deeply for his family and never forgot
how difficult life could be for so many. His quiet kindness
and generosity will be remembered fondly.
Survived also, by his brother, Wayne (Florence) and
pre-deceased by his parents, Joseph and Catherine Flynn of Dorchester
St, brothers Merrill (Ernestine), Allan (Cathy),
and sister, Shirley Dunn (John), nephew Michael Dunn, and niece
Deborah Flynn. Brother in law, uncle and friend to
many.
He was happily retired from Canada Post where he most enjoyed
serving people. In retirement he enjoyed his walking group at the
mall, his Walmart coffee group, flea markets, spring trips to Florida,
prided himself in growing the tallest sunflowers, and doting on
grandkids and pets.
Resting at Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home
from where the funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 23,
2024 at 11:00 a.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation Friday,
March 22, 2024 from 4-7 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial

Heart and Stroke Foundation (PEI)
