It is with great sadness
we announce the passing, on July 12, 2024, doing the favorite thing he
loved, driving his Rat Rod, of Donald (Donnie) Joseph Doucette, age 70
years. Born on August 24, 1953, the son of the late Emily
(nee Gallant) and Frankie Doucette, Nail Pond.
Leaving to mourn are his
wife, Marina (nee Martin), his son, Jules (Nora), and his daughter,
Tanya (Joey), and the apples of his eye, his grandkids, Tori, Jada,
Melody, Martin, and his beloved sidekick and driving buddy,
“Boss”. His sisters are Debbie, Marie, Rose, Angie,
Helen (Billy), Connie (Michael), Judy (Jim), his brothers, Bobby
(Darlene), and Francis. Donnie leaves behind many
nieces and nephews that every chance Donnie had to joke
around with them he would leave them with a smile and laugh. Donnie’s
larger than life, funny, friendly personality will be always be
remembered by all.
Predeceased by his
brother, Gary Doucette, nephew, Derrick Chaisson, and parents-in-law,
Ralph and Alice Martin.
Visitation Wednesday, July
17th, with public public viewing 700 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
No flowers by family
request. Memorials to the funeral expense fund will be gratefully
appreciated by the family.
