With heartfelt sadness, the family announces the passing of Claire Marion Brown, more commonly known as Mom, Grammy, Great Grammy, and the Lady in Pink, on June 20, 2024.
Claire was born on June 8, 1929, in Winnipeg, Manitoba, to Robert and Edith Williams. Claire married Paul McArthur and they had two children together, Brent and Diane.
Claire was the most kind, giving, caring, smart, gentle, strong, loveable woman and her presence will be deeply missed forever. Claire was a member of the Lansing United Church for many years. Upon retirement, Claire enjoyed playing bridge, travelling and spending time with her family.
Claire is survived by her son, Brent (Elaine), her daughter, Diane (Mike), grandchildren, Spencer (Meg) and Amanda (Don), and great-grandchildren, Claire and Hailey. Claire is predeceased by her brother, Terry Williams, former husband, Paul McArthur, and late husband, Phil Brown.
Though Mom, Grammy, and Great Grammy is no longer with us, she will forever be in our hearts.
