It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Allen Glenn Prelusky on December 2nd, 2024, in Victoria, BC. Allen was born on December 31st, 1952, in Lamont, Alberta. He worked for The Ministry of Forests right after attending the University of Victoria, where he later retired as a Registered Professional Forester (RPF). He married his wife, Shelley, in November of 1976 and they were married for 48 years.
He loved soapstone carving, tennis, golfing, and most of all, his family. He took pride in his gardening and when it wasn’t raining, you could always find him out working in the yard. He especially looked forward to hosting his annual Grey Cup parties, rooting for his team The Edmonton Elks.
He is survived by his wife Shelley, and daughters, Danika (Chris) and Jenna. Also survived by grandchildren, Ella, Evan and Alexis, and siblings, Monica and Dan.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Cancer Clinic at Royal Jubilee Hospital in Victoria, BC are greatly appreciated.
There will be no service in respect of Allen’s wishes.
RIP Allen, you will be sadly missed and loved forever.
Condolences may be offered to the family below.
