Born February 24, 1950 in Carbonara, Bari, Italy. A beloved wife, mother, sister, aunt and friend passed away Wednesday, November 6, 2024 in Vancouver at the age of 74. Predeceased by her parents, Anna and Giuseppe Campagna.
Maria will be deeply missed by her loving family; husband Giuseppe, children Patrick (Ali-Su), Lisa (Matthew), sisters Antonia (Cosimo), Carmela and brother Joe (Joanne), numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews and her dear cat Mila.
Maria was the solid rock of the family. Her tender heart and kindness touched everyone that knew her. Her memories will live on with each of us and she will never be forgotten.
Family viewing will be held on Tuesday, November 26 between 2:30 pm to 4:00 pm at Kearney Burnaby Chapel, 4715 Hastings St., Burnaby.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, November 27 at 10:00 am at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 2025 Napier St., Vancouver.
As an expression of sympathy, a donation in Maria’s memory can be made to Diabetes Canada, Heart and Stroke Foundation or BC SPCA.
