Joyce Frances Stuart Wood (nee Garner), passed away peacefully on September 22nd,
2024.
Joyce was born in North Vancouver on August 25,1928 and lived on Osborne Road (Upper
Lonsdale) for many years. Beloved wife of Harry for 45 years until he passed away in 1994.
‘World’s Bestest Mom’ to Gord (Kathleen), Don (Donna), Doreen (Mark) and Patty (Grant).
Cherished Grandmother to Laura and Stephen, Jeff, Tyler and Sarah. Devoted Great-
Grandmother to Jasper, Kai and Liliana. We are so lucky to have you in our lives and we will
miss you!
Joyce had many friends, neighbors, bridge/cribbage partners, fellow lawn bowlers, curlers, and
others to whom she will be fondly remembered for her thoughtful, funny and frank sweetness.
Forever loved by her family who extends sincere appreciation to the awesome team at Sunrise
Lynn Valley for their exemplary care.
