It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jose Manuel Sampaio – beloved husband, father, brother, grandfather, godfather, uncle and friend. Jose was born in Zedes, Portugal and passed away in Vancouver, BC at the age of 80.
Jose was predeceased by his wife Helen and he will be missed deeply and loved forever by his children Michael (Emily), Jessica (Sam), grandson Gabriel as well as his brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews.
May he rest in peace and may all the wonderful memories of him be a comfort to all who knew him.
Prayers will take place on Wednesday October 23rd 2024 at 10:00 am at Our Lady of Fatima Portuguese Parish (1423 E 13th Avenue, Vancouver) with Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 10:30 am.
Interment will take place at Forest Lawn Memorial Park (Garden of Tribute, 3789 Royal Oak Avenue, Burnaby) at 1:00 pm.
