Carol passed away on July 25, 2024. She was predeceased by her daughter Kelly. She is survived by her husband of 68 years, John, and her children Catherine and Michael as well as 10 grandchildren.
Carol was born in Toronto in 1936 and graduated from the University of Toronto with a degree in English Literature in 1957. She stayed home to raise her 3 children and when they were all of school age she obtained her teaching qualifications and became an elementary school teacher.
Carol was a superb and well regarded teacher. She taught in the Ontario, British Columbia and Alberta School Districts, ending her career in Lethbridge, Alberta where she taught French for many years. As well as being a talented teacher Carol was also an accomplished cook, seamstress and gardener with boundless and enviable energy and enthusiasm. We will miss her fighting spirit.
Rest in peace dearest mother and grandmother.
