Obituary of Bruce Leo Lepetich
It is with heavy hearts thet yhe family of Bruce Leo Lepetich announce his peaceful passing on October 28, 2024 at the age of 97 with family by his side.
Bruce was born October 18, 1927 in Quesnel to Peter and Ida Lepetich and was the third of four boys.
Bruce spent his early years on the homestead at Buckridge helping with the family ranching business. When Bruce left the homestead he ventured into the logging industry and then into land and real estate development.
Bruce was pre-deceased by his parents, his brothers Mark, Lloyd, Remo, his daughter in law Brenda and nephew Egan.
He is survived by his common law wife of thirty nine years Geraldine Kovach, his daughters Ellen (Daryl), Sharon (Eric), His sons Peter, Roger (Julie), Brad (Kathrin), Step-Children Ron (Roslynn), Michelle (Jeanette), Ian (Kathy), Lynn (Greg), Fifteen grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren.
Bruce was an active outdoor enthusiast and enjoyed walking, hiking, boating, skiing, fishing and golf. He also loved to cook and enjoyed gardening, picking berries and canning. Bruce liked to travel, especially to alm Springs, where he and Geraldine loved to spend their winters. Bruce was a generous and kind man known for his sense of humour.
The family would like to extend their thanks to all of the incredible staff at Dunrovin Park Lodge who took such exceptional care of Bruce. They were incredibly gentle and kind.
