Richard ‘Rick’ Johnson Obituary
In loving memory of Rick Johnson, we would like to announce his passing on October 3, 2024.
He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Marjorie Johnson; his two daughters, Kim (Mel) Snow and Christie Hartwig; and three grandchildren, Allyssa Snow, Kailey (Patrick) Campbell, and Jake Hartwig.
We would like to remember him for his contributions in the communities where he lived; as director for S.S. Sicamous, board member of the Peace Arch Hospital Foundation, member of the Gizeh Mini Corp., counsellor for the Federal Business Development Bank, and director of the Economic Development Department for the City of Surrey.
The family would like to thank the staff at McKinney Place in Oliver for being at Rick’s side in such a caring manner during his final moments.
A Celebration of Life will be held in the spring.
