Malcolm Tannant Obituary
It is with deep sorrow that the family of Malcolm Tannant announce his passing on Monday, November 4, 2024 in Penticton, BC at the age of 86 years.
He was a kind, fun-loving man. For those that knew him, Malcolm could be found joyfully working in the orchard, tending to his trees or riding on his tractor with his grandson, Benton. He had a passion for spending time with his friends and always enjoyed dancing the night away. He believed in community service as he was instrumental in helping to restore the Kettle Valley Steam Railway. He was a consummate family man, always working on a project; always willing to lend a hand.
He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth; son, David, daughter, Ann-Marie (David) and grandson, Benton; sisters, Connie, Jane and Lorri (Ray), brother, Trevor (Betty) as well as many nieces and nephews.
Malcolm was a dedicated, devoted and loving father, and a caring friend. He will not be forgotten.
A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, November 20, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Providence Funeral Homes Chapel, Penticton.
A special thank you for the exceptional care he received at both the Kelowna and Penticton Hospitals. In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate a donation to the Kettle Valley Steam Railway or to the Gellatly Nut Farm Regional Park.
