Ivan Coffin Obituary
Ivan John Coffin passed away peacefully on October 6, 2024 into the arms of his Lord and Saviour. He was born on September 6, 1933 in Wakeham, Quebec. He was a dedicated and hardworking man who spent most of his years in the mining industry and related fields. He lived and worked across the country from Bathhurst, NB to Murdochville, QC, Elliott Lake, ON to Saskatoon and Regina, SK and finally in Penticton, BC. He was an excellent listener and encouraged people, especially those younger than himself, on their journeys.
Ivan was born to parents, William and Alice. He was sadly predeceased by an infant son, Ivan Guy; son, Stephen (Sandi); brothers, Cyris (Linda) and Ashley (Anita) and infant step-grandson, Avo. He is survived by his wife, Jean; daughter, Sheryl (Bob); step-children, Charlene (Brian) and Robert; siblings, Sydney (Alice), Gary (Cornelia) and Arlene; step-grandchildren, Shiloa (Josh), Kelsey (Mike), Ethan and Sophie; and step-great-grandsons, Spencer and Nixon. He loved each member of his family and took much pride in all of their accomplishments.
Respecting Ivan’s wishes, there will be no service.
