Gary Bazan Obituary
Gary Bazan of Summerland, BC, passed away peacefully on November 11, 2023, at the age of 88 years.
Born in Kelowna on March 10, 1935, Gary experienced many worldly adventures in his lifetime. During the Korean War, he served in the R.C.A.F. and worked in the Canadian Arctic (DEW Line), Europe, the U.S.A., and Canada. He was proud of his time in the service and was a Legion member for many years.
His journey brought him back to the Okanagan, where he retired and continued to enjoy his life with his wife Annette.
Gary was a talented storyteller, writing a collection of stories when his family encouraged him to publish. He was a member of the Penticton Writers and Publishers for several years.
He will be remembered by his wife, Annette; brother, Joe (Jennifer); sister, Sylvia (Fred); sister-in-law, Paulette, in California; their families; and many cousins and friends.
As per Gary’s wishes, there will be no service.
