Dawn Nielsen Obituary
The family of Dawn Sharon Nielsen of Penticton, BC is saddened to announce her passing. Dawn passed away peacefully with her family by her side on December 9, 2023 at the age of 45 years.
She will be remembered and sadly missed by her loving husband, Jason; daughters, Caitlynn and Sarah; parents, Susan Nielsen and Larry Ekholm; siblings, Kim and Kristine.
Dawn loved her family and would do anything for them. She loved her job at Canadian Tire for the past 16 years. She couldn’t go anywhere without being noticed. She enjoyed camping and fishing and all of her family and friends.
We would like to thank the wonderful staff at Penticton Regional Hospital, especially Dr. Bull in oncology for being so compassionate and caring, along with the rest of the department staff. We also wish to thank the staff at Moog and Friends Hospice House for all they have done to make her comfortable.
