Brian Krebs Obituary
Our family is deeply saddened to announce the death of Brian Krebs.
Brian was born on March 21, 1947. He was predeceased by his parents, Alf and Rosemary Krebs, and his younger brother, Rod Krebs. Brian had been ill for the past year and succumbed to his illness on August 9, 2024, with Jean, his wife of 56 years, by his side.
Brian is survived by his wife, Jean; his two sons, Jamie (Angie) and Cory, both of Kelowna; his granddaughter, Lexi, of Montreal; his grandson, Trai, of Kelowna; his brothers, Dan (Karin), Chris (Loni), Mike (Cindy), all of Kelowna, and Mitch (Lavonne), of Courtney, BC, and his many nieces and nephews.
Brian was the oldest of six boys and his younger brothers could always count on him for brotherly advice or, if needed, to bail them out of trouble. Brian was born and raised in Kelowna. At an early age, he had a love for cars and his family and friends will forever have fond memories of him cruising Bernard from City Park to the Dubs with the occasional drag race when tempted. The Krebs family has always been a tight bunch and each of us holds special memories of Brian whether it be camping or the Krebs Boxing Day and summer Chicken Day get-togethers. His greatest pastime love was taking his wife, Jean, out on their boat for a day cruise or for days at a time.
One of Brian’s first jobs was working with his dad delivering milk for Noca Dairy. Later on, Brian got involved in the trucking industry, which led him to owning his own trucking company and, at times, employing his sons and three of his brothers. Brian had a favourite saying “No Problem” whether it was work or life… No Problem!
As per Brian’s wishes, there will be no service. A family Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
