“It is with great sadness that our family is announcing the death of Michelle (Breeze) Lee Mitchell. She has been taken from us way too soon at the age of 53 on Feb. 15, 2024.
She will be sadly missed by her children, Charles, Alethea, Jasmine and Grace, of whom were her first loves.
She is also lovingly missed by her mom and dad, sisters, her brother, aunts & uncles, numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Breeze was a loving, kind, and compassionate person to anyone she met and sadly she will be missed. She had a way of growing onto people, many of which had loved and cared for her very much.
Regardless of her circumstances, she never allowed them to change the core of who she was as a human being.
Through faith and her connection to a higher power, she was well on her way to building a better future for herself. She had completed some classes to further her education, and established goals toward furthering her well-being, self love and independence.
Only God knows why she was taken so soon. We will all carry her in our hearts and in our thoughts & prayers until we meet again.
The immediate family will have a private memorial service on Wed, March 6th, in the Nanaimo/Oceanside area.
A Memorial will be held on Saturday, March 9th, in Port Hardy at the Christian Fellowship’s, “The Bridge Church,”
7205 Market Street, Port Hardy, BC.
A Celebration of Life will be held June 22, 2024, by her parents in Saskatchewan. More details to follow.

Rest in peace to our beloved mom, daughter, sister, aunty, and friend. You are in God’s hands. May Mother Earth, along with the Great Spirit, support your journey down the good road of our ancestors to a place of abundance, love, peace, and dignity.”
