It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Lisa O’Gara. Born in Coleshill, Birmingham, to Pauline and Peter Roach, and a cherished sister to Martin, Lisa lived a life filled with love, joy, and adventure.
In July 1992, Lisa and her devoted husband, Paul, made the bold decision to emigrate to Canada, where they settled in the beautiful community of Whonnock, Maple Ridge. Together, they built several successful local businesses and forged a life that reflected their shared passions and dreams.
Lisa had an unwavering love for nature and a deep affection for dogs, which she and Paul lovingly welcomed into their lives. Her happiest moments were spent on their daily walks to Pitt Lake, with Paul by her side and their many dogs trotting along.
Surrounded by close family and friends, Lisa treasured the contented life they built in Maple Ridge, creating cherished memories with those she loved.
A celebration of Lisa’s life will take place on Saturday, November 16th at Whonnock Lake Centre.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Lisa’s favorite charity, SAINTS, in her honor.
Lisa’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her, and she will be deeply missed.
