June Diwar (Hughes, Hart)
Write a Tribute
June passed away peacefully, at the age of 93, with her family by her side.
She was born to a loving family, in the small coal mining town of Luscar, Alberta. The family moved to Port Coquitlam in 1942, so she could complete her high school education.
She married her first husband, Don Hart, in 1952.
She worked at Riverview Hospital, as a stenographer, until her first child was born in 1958 but returned 16 years later and worked there until she retired in 1990.
June moved to Maple Ridge in 1984. She loved to travel, bowl and garden and kept her shelves well stocked with all of her canning.
We have many happy memories of our mom. She was one in a million and we will miss her very much.
She is predeceased by her second husband, Jack Diwar and her grandson, Taylor Hart.
She is survived by her son Steve and Bonnie-Lynn Hart, daughter Pam and Brian Weisgerber, and daughter Laurel and Glen Wagner, grandchildren Kendra, Caitlyn and Mitch, and 7 great grandchildren.
Rest easy mom. We love you.
