ZADER, Alma
August 12, 1935 — September 3, 2024
Alma Zader, born August 12, 1935, in Stepanowki, Poland to the late August and Olga Ginter, went home to be with the Lord on September 3, 2024, in Kelowna, BC.
In 1950, her family immigrated to Canada by the Grace of God and settled in Swan River, Manitoba. At age 14, Alma accepted the Lord Jesus as her personal saviour, was baptized in Minitonas, Manitoba, and joined the First Baptist Church.
In June 1952, Alma and Alfred Zader wed, and were married for 54 years. In November 1968 they moved to Kelowna, BC where they joined the fellowship of believers at Grace Baptist Church.
Sadly, Alma was predeceased by her beloved husband, Alfred, in 2006, she also survived her brothers Daniel & Arthur and sister Frieda. She is survived by her children Myrtle Fuellbrandt, Miriam Zader, and Nelson Zader; grandchildren Carmen, Mark, Nicole, and Jordan; great-grandchildren Mateo, Amalia, and Georgia; and her brother Ace Ginter
She will be forever loved and missed by her family until we meet again in our Heavenly Home.
A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, September 16, 2024, at 10:00 am (PDT), at Springfield Funeral Home, 2020 Springfield Road, Kelowna, BC, with Pastor Ed Hahn officiating, and a reception to follow. If you are unable to attend in person, please join the family online by Livestream at the time of the service (see below), a recording will be made available to view shortly thereafter. Alma will be laid to rest at Kelowna Memorial Park Cemetery, 1991 Bernard Avenue, Kelowna, BC, on Tuesday, September 17, 2024, at 10:00 am.
