Elizabeth Schlitt’s family regrettably announce her passing on December 14, 2023, in Kelowna, BC, at the age of 88.
Elizabeth is survived by her daughter, Esther Sotelecan; grandson, Lorand (Maria); and granddaughter, Emese (Gabriele Pop). She was sadly predeceased by her husband, John, and her two sons.
Born to Ilonka and Gyorgy Szasz, Elizabeth was born on August 8, 1935, in Malin, Romania. Elizabeth dedicated her life to her family, finding her greatest joy in nurturing her children and grandchildren. She drew her strength from her family, instilling meaningful values and teaching the power of Faith and Love, which she believed to be essential for a fulfilling life. In times of need, she turned to ceaseless prayer and sought help from our Almighty God.
A Funeral Service, with Pastor Willi Weigert presiding, will be held on FRIDAY, DECEMBER 22, 2023, 10:00 AM (PST), at SPRINGFIELD FUNERAL HOME: 2020 Springfield Road, Kelowna, BC. Interment will take place after the service at Kelowna Memorial Park Cemetery, 1991 Bernard Avenue, Kelowna, BC
