Martin Schuster Obituary
Martin Kenneth Schuster peacefully passed away on October 11, 2024, at the age of 86. Born on August 29, 1938, he was the fourth of six children in a loving and musical German family, nurtured by his parents, Elizabeth and John Schuster. Martin thrived in sports during his youth and maintained an active lifestyle throughout his life, participating in football, hockey, golf, and daily runs, while also being an enthusiastic sports fan who enjoyed watching various games.
A devoted family man, Martin married Carol, and together they precious 24 years of marriage, raising three children: Terri, Grant, and Doug. After Carol’s passing in 1984, he was fortunate to find love again with Ann. They shared 37 joyful years together, raising their daughter, Andrea. Though he didn’t always express his emotions outwardly, Martin had an exceptional ability to make those around him feel seen, heard, valued, and deeply loved.
In his professional life, Martin enjoyed a successful 30-year career with Benjamin Moore, where his keen eye for style and charismatic personality shone through. He is survived by his four beloved children: Terri, Grant, Doug (Heather), and Andrea. His legacy continues through his grandchildren, Joey (Zoe), Randy (Kristin), Sarah, David, Katie, and Mathew, as well as his great-grandchildren, Adrian, Jason, Kira, Chloe, Elizabeth, and Kristopher.
His family prays that they may embody his cherished legacy of love and strength of character, ensuring that Martin’s spirit will persist in their lives. Although he will be profoundly missed, Martin’s character and the life he lived so well will endure in the hearts of all who knew him. May he rest in peace.
