Greg Dumonceaux Obituary
With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Gregory Michael Dumonceaux on November 9, 2024 at the age of seventy. Greg was born July 18, 1954 in New Westminster, B.C. It gives us great comfort knowing that our Dad’s last moments were filled with the soothing voice and loving touch of our Grandma Pat.
Greg was a proud electrician and safety officer. He had a passion for woodworking and made beautiful furniture. He enjoyed scuba diving, working in his garden, swinging a golf club, the Seattle Seahawks and jumping out of airplanes. Greg was a giving man always willing to help others and trying to light up their lives with his smile and his sense of humour. He had immense love for his family and a soft spot for his grandchildren; Carson, Brooklyn, Hannah, Nathan and Keely.
He is survived by his children Krista (Jason) and Michael (Justine) Dumonceau; brothers Bernard (Renee) and Perry (Tammy); nieces and nephews Lauren, Colton, Chloe and Harlem, Dylan and TJ. He is also survived by many more extended family and friends; Siglinde (Momma Linda), Robyn, Taryn, Ginny (Corey) and special friend Siggy. He was predeceased by his father Joseph Pierre “Pete” Dumonceaux.
There will be a private family service at a later date. Special thanks to all the staff at Hospice House Kelowna for their care and compassion.
