Born in Winnipeg, MB on August 25, 1938, Betty Frederiksen passed away peacefully on October 26, 2023.
Betty was an incredible wife & mother. She dedicated herself to both supporting Carl’s endeavours at Danish Bakery and nurturing their children, all while pursuing a fulfilling career as a nurse. 20 years of her service as a nurse was spent working at Kelowna General Hospital. Her tireless efforts and unwavering commitment created a profound impact on the lives of those she cared for and inspired those around her. She leaves behind her loving husband of 62 years, Carl; her son, Dennis, daughter-in-law, Pat, and grandsons, Austin (Ashley) and Cole; and her son, Ken, and daughter-in-law, Sandi Horning.
Betty will be sorely missed and lovingly remembered.
