Sheila Carlson, beloved sister, niece, auntie and friend, passed away peacefully September 26, 2023, at the age of 75. She was predeceased by her parents Lloyd and Florence Carlson and survived by her younger brother Rod (Jennifer) and sister Karen (Craig), as well as niece and nephews, Jordan, Philip, Tim, Chris, and Alyssa.
Sheila was born and raised in Kelowna, BC. Starting as a young adult, Sheila’s musical talent of singing and playing the piano/organ were enjoyed by many, especially in her church community at Evangel Church. She loved working behind the scenes planning and organizing church events (including many weddings).
In 1973, she moved to New Westminster, BC and worked at the Royal Columbian Hospital as a Unit Clerk and then in administration until her retirement, when she moved back to Kelowna.
Sheila’s joy came from helping others, and from her family. She was so generous with her time and talents; for that, she will be lovingly remembered.
