Obituary of Margaret Dorothy Pugh
Margaret Dorothy Pugh (Sewell)
Born in Forty St John BC hospital July 11, 1960
Passed away in Forty St John BC hospital May 16, 2024
Margie, her parents (Don and Marion Sewell), two brothers (Richard and Hugh), her three sisters (Marolyn, Carolyn and Judy) spent many years living on the Thompkins Ranch, where her dad worked. She attended Attache school and later Bert Bowes and North Peace SS. Talented with numbers, she worked as a bookkeeper and parts person.
In 1989 she married Tom Pugh and they lived a number of years in Calgary Alberta pursuing a music career. 1993 brought them back to her beloved Peace Country. She would often say, “there is just no place like home.”
Margie was gifted at many crafts, but the thing she most wanted to be in life was a mother.
She leaves behind her husband, Tom, daughter Richelle and Ryan, grandchildren Lillia and Silas, and son Michael and Clem.
She was decidedly dedicated to her friends.
She loved her family fiercely.
She was the centre of our universe and will be missed deeply.
Memorial service will be held July 4, 2024 at Calvary Baptist Church FSJ at 2:00pm.
