Belton – Lawrence Douglas
May 8th, 1935 – July 5th, 2024
Doug passed peacefully, after 89 years of travelling, loving boating at Lake Cowichan, snow skiing and curling for many years.
Doug enjoyed his car dealership and was also the Manager of Duncan Garage for years ago. He was very dedicated to his clients and staff and loved his work.
He was President of the Gyro and Curling Club. He loved helping others in anyway he could.
Doug is predeceased by his parents Phylis and Clayton Belton, two brothers Barry and Bill and sister Glenda.
He is survived by his children Scott Penry, Laurie Vanhagh, Brent McDuff, Jenifer Isherwood, Megan Coliter and Dona Garland.
We would like to thank the nurses at Cowichan District Hospital and the Duncan Wound Clinic.
Waldon House was a godsend to our family, thankyou so much.
Thank you, to all these wonderful and caring staff for their exceptional care!
May he rest in peace and be forever remembered.
We will love you forever Doug!
