Obituary of Lillian Kuros
Josephine “Lillian” Kuros
Daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother (Baba).
Josephine “Lillian” was born in Wynyard, Saskatchewan in 1940. Married in 1959 and had her boys Eric, Duane and Shane Goretzky. She then moved to Dawson Creek in 1965. She remarried in 1970 and had Symon and Ki Taube.
Today her family includes 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Mom was an excellent, fun loving, caring, adventurous “grand”mother. As a grandmother/Baba, she was full of wonderous stories and memories with a houseful of curiosities. Mother had traveled and saw a lot of the world. Her travels included Europe, North America, Mexico, Caribbean, and North Africa.
Mother will be remembered for her unconditional love and support for family. Her love of music, singing, cards/3 spot and crib, reading, air cadets, board games, marshmallow candy and chocolate!!!! Most of all she loved her grandkids.
Mother/Baba passed away on Saturday, February 3, 2024, at the age of 83 years. She was reunited with her parents, son Ki, granddaughter Krysten, her sisters and brother.
The family invites you to a Visitation for Lillian that will be held at the Dawson Creek Senior Citizens Hall on Friday, February 9, 2024, from 11:00 – 12:00 pm with a Memorial Service to follow at 1:00 pm.
Interment will be at Brookside Cemetery.
