It is with deep sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our dear mother Rollande. She is reunited with her husband of 57 years, Léo who passed away in 2014.
She will be lovingly remembered by her sons Claude (Kathy), George, Jules (Kathleen) and daughter Lise. She leaves behind grandchildren Amanda and André; great grandchildren Sienna and twins Daven and Lyra; sisters Marielle Levesque (Gilbert) and Béatrice Stark (Jack†) and numerous nieces and nephews and friends.
Rollande is predeceased by her father Henri; mother Albina Sénécal; sisters Alfreda Beaudin (Roland), Henriette Bernardin (Wilfred), Laurette Martin (Adrien) Clémence Précourt (Gilbert), Estelle Beaudette (Harold Houde, Olivier); brothers Albert, Edouard (Laura), Benoit (Anna) and Raymond (Eveline).
Rollande was born in St. Eustache, Manitoba. In 1966, Rollande, Léo and the boys left Manitoba and moved to Maillardville (Coquitlam) British Columbia, where she resided in the family home until her passing. Mom was proud to say that she was a ‘fixture’ in the neighbourhood.
A funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday, October 25, 2024 at 11:00 am at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, 315 Walker Street Coquitlam. Father Claude Makulu celebrant.
