Petra Berto Obituary
We regret to announce the passing of a long-time resident of Lacombe, Petra Wandag Berto at age 98, on June 23, 2024 at the Lacombe Hospital & Care Centre, with her only daughter Marilyn, and a relative, Jerson Segundo by her side.
She is survived by her three sons and one daughter: Ben, the eldest lives in Surrey, British Columbia; Samuel resides in the Philippines, and Marvin in Loma Linda, California.
Petra Berto came to Canada in 1982 with her husband, the late Pastor Felipe B. Berto of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
The Funeral Service will be held at the Lacombe Community Seventh-day Adventist Church at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday, July 7, 2024.
The family would like to express their thanks to the wonderful care given her by the nurses and doctors of the Lacombe Hospital & Care Centre in the time of her illness.
