Margaret Alice Carson
August 15, 1933 – May 21, 2024
We sadly announce that on May 21, 2024 Margaret Alice Carson (nee Otto) passed away at the age of 90 years. She is survived by her four good-looking and charming children – son, Darryl (Karen) Carson; daughters, Brenda (Steve) Taschuk, Gwen Carson (Dennis Knelsen) and Nancy (Randy) Jones; seven grandchildren, Ann (Rob) Tuson, Catherine (Kerry) Harper, Jennifer (Tim) Hayes, Dominique (Matt) Joly, Renata Carson (Stacy Brown), Hannah (Nolan) Gray, Liam Jones (Breanne McDonald); ten great-grandchildren; two sisters, Kathleen Manning and Jeannette (Fritz) Crone; her special friend, Ed Brubacher as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Margaret was predeceased by her husband, Robert; infant son, Gary as well as her infant granddaughter, Patricia.
The family would like to extend a special “Thank You” to the staff in the ER, Units 33 and 35 at the Wetaskiwin Hospital.
A funeral service will be held at Baker Funeral Chapel on Tuesday, May 28, 2024 at 1:00p.m, with interment following at Wetaskiwin Memorial Cemetery. Donations in Margaret’s memory are gratefully accepted to the Wetaskiwin Health Foundation.
