Laurie Holt Obituary
Laura Janet Holt was born in Calgary, Alberta on July 31, 1945 to Archie and Margaret Wilcox. Laurie passed away at the Ponoka Hospital and Care Centre on August 11, 2024 at the age of 79.
Laurie leaves to mourn her husband of 56 years, Richard, and their “Little White Dog” Winnie; her children Rick (Melissa), Carolyn, Wendy (Kris), and Rastko (Maija); her brother Roy (Linda); and her niece Jenny. Laurie is also survived by her beloved grandchildren: Levi (MacKenzie), Reece, Emma-Leigh, Piper, Marcus, Luka, Jaida and Kiara.
She was predeceased by her father Archie, her mother Margaret and her grandson Robert.
A celebration of life will be held for Laurie at a later date.
Memorial donations in Laurie’s honor can be made to the Schizophrenia Society in Red Deer.
