Edward “Ed” Schneider Obituary
Ed Schneider left this place on earth to be with the Lord and his beloved wife Ruth on May 24, 2024.
Ed enjoyed people. Even after retiring from buying and hauling cattle, lumber, and cheese, he was off driving the Bashaw Handy Van. If someone needed something or needed a ride, away he went. Coffee after church and morning coffee uptown were always on his list. He always enjoyed a trip to the Dollar Store. Some youngsters named him “Papa Ed” and he loved his license plate, aptly named. No matter where Ed went he always knew someone.
He will be lovingly remembered by his daughter Darlene (Raymond) Dashney; granddaughter Breanna Dashney; and his grandson Brandon (Shaunna) Dashney. He was very proud of his grandchildren and dearly loved his great-grandchildren Sawyer and Desmond Dashney.
A Celebration of Ed’s life will he held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, May 31, 2024 at the Zion Lutheran Church, Bashaw.
Memorial Donations in Ed’s name are gratefully accepted to St. Peters Cemetery or any charity of your choice.
