Albert Mikulecky Obituary
Albert John Mikulecky, aged 74 years, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Wednesday, June 12, 2024. He leaves behind a legacy of love: his devoted and loving wife of 53 years, Lise; daughter, Tracy (Chris) and grandchildren, Taylor (Hayley), David (Samantha) and Rebecca; his son, Ryan, and his special feline friend, Roo.
Albert was born and raised in the Wetaskiwin area, starting school in Gwynne, and graduating from the Wetaskiwin Composite High School. After trying his hand at a few different types of jobs, he found his niche in the car industry, eventually making a name for himself as a very successful salesman and manager (Mr. Chrysler). Following this, he then worked as a vehicle appraiser (Concorde Appraisals). Albert and Lise also spent ten years as the co-owners and operators of the Stettler Home Hardware.
Albert enjoyed restoring muscle cars, and taking his cars out to car shows in Alberta, B.C. and the U.S. His favourite pastime, though, was time spent with family, and helping during harvest on his sisters farm. Albert and Lise enjoyed many a ‘Happy Hour’ with good friends. He was known for his hard work ethic, quick wit, funny stories and all around good nature. Never a cross word passed his lips. He touched the lives of so many people and he will be deeply missed.
Humble right to the end, it was Albert’s request that no funeral service be held.
