Obituary
It is with deepest sorrow that we say farewell to Reginald (Reg) James Kerekanich who passed away in the early morning hours June 4th at the age of 65. Reg was born in Dawson Creek, BC on October 19, 1958.
He is survived by his loving mother Vivian; father Julian (Carol); sister Julie (Erik); and brothers Larry, Byron, and Alan; as well as many close nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Reg grew up in Sylvan Lake and later moved to Dawson Creek to live and care for his ‘Memere” until she passed. He worked for the Peace River Block News for many years and loved spending time with his buddies and best friend Fred. He moved to Sylvan Lake where he lived out the rest of his years living and being cared for by his brother Larry, niece Michelle and her son Landon.
Reg always had a sense of humor no matter what life put in his way. The last few years were a battle for him with his health but he never was one to let it show. We will all miss him dearly, especially his smile.
