It is with great sadness that the family of Douglas Gregory McLauchlin convey his passing on November 4, 2023. Doug was born in Calgary on January 5, 1948, to Winnifred and Kenneth. He grew up and previously farmed in the Lyalta area with his wife Laura, Dad Kenneth, and Uncle Lenard and had a passion for cattle and other animals as well hockey and ringette.
His greatest joy was his four daughters, Kasey, Kari, Kim, and Kellie. He also adored his grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with them.
Doug will be missed by his family and many friends.
Per his wishes, a private family gathering was held November 7, 2023.
The family would like to thank the Sagewood Seniors Center staff and his friends and neighbours over the years for their friendship and support.
If you should desire to make a donation in his honor, donations can be made directly to the Calgary Humane Society or the Alberta Diabetes Foundation.
