Shirley is survived by her loving family, daughter Deb Zinger (Peter) of Erskine; grandchildren Christopher (Kelly) Zinger of Beaumont and their children Owen and Mia, Blair Zinger (Melisa) of Stettler; sisters Marie Sanders of Calgary and Fay Wheatley of Kelowna; brother Jim (Gayle) Tennant of Stettler; sisters in law Faye Tennant, Violet Turre, Madeline Bouma, Amelia (Gary) Rogers and Cathy Schaffner, numerous other relatives and many dear friends.
Shirley was predeceased by her parents, husband Tom, son Allen, brother Bill Tennant, sisters in law Eva (Bryon) Gale, Elizabeth (Frank) Heslop, brothers in law Bill (Dilys) Schaffner, Charlie Schaffner, Keith Halverson, Henry Turre, and Don Bouma.
