Stanley Doughlas Kenner “Doug Kenner”
January 25, 1941 – June 26, 2024
Doug Kenner was born at Bentley, Alberta to parents Vivian and Charles Kenner.
Doug served in the Canadian Military for 28 years. He belonged to the Legion and was a proud Vet. Doug loved his family dearly, fishing, hunting, camping and anything outdoors.
Doug passed away with his loving family by his side at the Stettler Hospital, Stettler, Alberta.
Doug will be forever missed by his wife Sharyn Kenner; son Travis (Amanda) Kenner and grandchildren: Daniel Kenner, Joshua Kenner and Rebecca Kenner; daughter Corrie-Ann (Joe) Barkley and grandchildren and great grandchildren: Cody (Ashley) Barkley (Taylor Barkley, Mackenzie Barkley and Jacob Barkley), Sara Barkley and Amber Barkley; brother Patrick Kenner; sisters in law: Irene Kenner, Donna Kenner and Shirley Smith; numerous nieces, nephews, other family and many dear friends and neighbours. He was predeceased by his parents Vivian and Charles Kenner; brothers Roger Kenner and Arnold Kenner; sister Arlene Keown; sister in law Dorothy Kenner; brother in law David Smith; nephews John Kenner and Darin Smith and other family members.
A celebration of Doug’s life will be held on Thursday, July 4, 2024 at 1:00 P.M. at the Donalda Community Hall, Donalda, Alberta. Donations in memory are gratefully accepted to the Soldier On Fund at soldieron-sanslimites@forces.gc.ca
