Ruth Mildred Pelechaty, born October 5, 1926, passed peacefully in her home at Vilna, Alberta at the age of 97 years on August 3, 2024. She is survived by her four children, Ed, Marion, Ron & Audrey, as well as several grandchildren & great-grandchildren. Ruth’s family wishes to extend special thanks to the staff at Vilna Lodge for their support and friendship over many years. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, August 13 at 11:00 a.m. at Vilna Cultural Centre with Reverend Dr. Earle Sharam officiating.
