On December 22, 2023, Lionel Burgess Abraham passed away at Grey Nuns Hospital in Edmonton at the age of 50 years. He is survived by his loving wife, Sandie Dion; son, Taylor Dion-Abraham; daughter, Tayla Dion-Abraham; parents, Aldina & Allan Quinney; 2 brothers, Michael (Tracy) Abraham & Justin (Katrina) Quinney; 2 sisters, Sheila (Jerry) Dion & Shannon Quinney; kokum, Marie Abraham; mother-in-law, Agnes Dion; numerous aunts & uncles, nieces & nephews. Lionel was predeceased by his mosum, Edward Monias; father-in-law, Gabe Dion; sister-in-law, Marjorie Quinney; & uncles, Edward Fryingpan Jr. & Clifford Fryingpan. A Wake will be held on Wednesday (leaving Grace Gardens at 1:00 p.m.) & Thursday, December 27 & 28 at Norman C. Quinney Careers Centre, Frog Lake. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, December 29 at 11:00 a.m. at Norman C. Quinney Careers Centre, Frog Lake. Reverend Father Marvin Tanquerido and Elder Ernest Stanley will be officiating, with interment in Our Lady of Good Counsel Roman Catholic Cemetery, Frog Lake.
